There is tension at the crime scene between Lojacono and Buffardi of the organized-crime task force. Buffardi takes over, and the Pizzofalcone people are off the case. Chief Palma is furious with Lojacono, but changes his tone upon hearing a list of reasons why the crime is unlikely connected to the Camorra.
